Reminiscence: Seeing Angie Again

Sweet Strong Sterling Angie

I am so glad we got see in Lowell Massachusettsyour city, in March after over 30 years of leaving school and only communicating through the FGGC Bida old girls network. You were glowing. Not a single strand of hair out of place. You looked bright and lively and determined to live. Your quiet, husky but firm voice still speaks in my ears. We sat at lunch with your husband, children and Chioma another old girl talking about family and Nigeria. It was a beautiful moment.

Angie. Thank you for your journey.

You fought hard and well and taught us vital lessons about hope, courage and endurance most of all about the power of love to hold on. But God's love is supreme and God gives and takes as God wills. May your soul rest in eternal peace and God grant us the grace to continue to be there for your family..It's well with us.
